Alternative Spring Break Registration

Applications are due on Monday, November 30 at 3 PM.
Any submissions after this will not be considered.

Each participant in the Alternative Spring Break is required to attend the pre-break activities including informational sessions and pre-travel committee planning meetings, as well as a post-break activity. All participants are also required to help fundraise for the trip as part of service learning. During the break each member is expected to fully participate in each of the daily projects, workshops, and nightly journal writing. There is a $150.00 fee to help defray travel expenses. The cost will be raised to a maximum of $200.00 if the team fails to fundraise the appropriate amounts needed. If for some reason the participant decides to withdraw from the program before the break, they will be required to reimburse the program.

    I, , realize that if I am selected to attend this trip, I am committed to the volunteer work and time commitment the trip entails and understand I am filling a reserved seat. Therefore, if I withdraw from the program before spring break occurs, the RLI & CSC and Habitat for Humanity gets to keep your non-refundable $150 initial deposit. Furthermore, if I withdraw from the trip I will pay the RLI & CSI and Habitat for Humanity for the expense associated with canceling my airfare ticket or transferring my ticket into someone else's name.
