RIT's 4th Annual Leadership Advancement Conference: Connectology

Don't miss out on this outstanding and extremely worthwhile opportunity that is FREE ($5 refundable deposit is required) to all RIT students and only $10 for RIT Alumni and Rochester Area College Students. The conference will be offering over 25 different sessions for students to learn about a variety of leadership, mentoring and career success topics facilitated by a multitude of speakers from RIT and the Greater Rochester Area. The speakers and conference sessions are guaranteed to inspire you and leave you with many tips on how to succeed as a leader in your career and personal lives. Breakfast and lunch are provided for all participants. Register now for this great opportunity. This year's exciting speakers include award winning & celebrity speaker, Dion Jordan, and "Evolution of Dance" mastermind, Judson Laipply!

Participants will also have the opportunity to work towards earning one of RIT's leadership certificates. Five different tracks will be offered at the conference: "Personal Success Skills" a track that explores what it takes to enrich your personal leadership skills, styles and techniques, "Leading Others" a track that focuses how you can apply your personal leadership skills to group, work and community settings, "Real World" a track designed for junior and senior students who will be soon transitioning into the "real world," "Club Leaders" a track designed to help student leaders solidify the skills necessary to make their organization the most efficient possible, and a "Bonus Track" featuring a variety of topics, from global leadership and culture, to women in leadership and mentoring.

Presenters include RIT faculty, staff, alumnae, trustees, students and Rochester Area business leaders. During lunch there will also be several roundtable discussions, see the conference schedule for the details of the topics for each roundtable.

Friday night's limited pre-conference dinner is already FULL. This Networking Dinner reception, will teach participants the tips and tricks for successful networking while developing connections to advance their careers and personal goals. Also Friday evening is our after-event in Webb Auditorium at 8pm- the extreamly funny ASL comedian, Keith Wann!
