Academic Convocation - May 21, 2010

Graduates of RIT's eight colleges and their guests are invited to the Academic Convocation, the university's community Commencement celebration on Friday, May 21, 2010, in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. The Academic Convocation will feature the official conferral of degrees by President Destler and the 2010 Commencement Address by Mr. Bob Schieffer, CBS News' chief Washington correspondent and anchor and moderator of Face The Nation, CBS News' Sunday public affairs broadcast. The Academic Convocation is open to all graduates and their guests. Tickets are not required; seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow seating will be available in the Ritter Ice Arena.

College Commencement Ceremonies - May 21-22, 2010

In addition to the Academic Convocation, each college will host its own commencement ceremony. During the college commencement ceremony, each graduate will be individually introduced, recognized and congratulated by his or her dean.
