Academic Convocation & Commencement Ceremonies - May 20 & 21, 2011

Graduates of RIT's eight colleges and their guests are invited to the Academic Convocation, the university's community Commencement celebration on Friday, May 20, 2011, in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. The Academic Convocation will feature the official conferral of degrees by President Destler and the 2011 Commencement Address. The Academic Convocation is open to all graduates and their guests. Tickets are not required; seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow seating will be available in the Ritter Ice Arena.

In addition to the Academic Convocation, each college will host its own commencement ceremony. During the college commencement ceremony, each graduate will be individually introduced, recognized and congratulated by his or her dean. The schedule of ceremonies will be posted later this summer.
