Welcome to the Center for Campus Life!
I am thrilled that you are visiting us on-line, and invite you to take a look through the entire website for important and valuable information. The Center for Campus Life is here to provide assistance to each of you, as a member of the RIT community, while you seek your own unique way of contributing to or connecting with life in the extended activities' and events' "classroom"; the classroom beyond your academic environments, and designed to support and enhance your student experience.
Through programming design, implementation, and support, our efforts aim to provide opportunities for students to connect with other students, faculty and staff. The programs and related services we coordinate meet a variety of broad and diverse needs. From helping students to create their own club to sponsoring student led events, from inviting and informing the campus about the active social environment and fraternity and sorority life at RIT to encouraging the pursuit of hobbies related to your own personal interests, the Center seeks to provide something for everyone!
Staff from the Center also manage and coordinate services in our campus' Student Alumni Union. The SAU is host to a variety of student and staff departments. Each of these offices is central to creating and maintaining a diverse and healthy campus community. Feel free to visit the Club Resource Center - located in the RITreat at the SAU, and the SAU Information Desk - in the first floor lobby of the SAU, to learn more about the specific departments and offices in the building, and about how you can connect with events, organizations, and staff members!
My hope is that as you tour this website, you will learn more about the exciting and dynamic community RIT provides for students wishing to be involved at any and all levels! And, that you will see the enthusiasm and commitment our Campus Life staff has in their ultimate goal of supporting your success. If you have any questions, or would like to provide feedback about additions and updates to the site, please do not hesitate to contact me. Again, welcome, and I am so grateful for your visit!
Sincerely,
Karey T. Pine,
Director, Center for Campus Life
