Elementary Counseling, MS

I have worked at RIT for 28 years. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies and taught for 4years on the St. Labre Indian Mission in Ashland, Montana. In 1976 I went to the University of Maine-Portland/Gorham and received my Master's Degree in Elementary Counseling. Life led me to a professional position in Residence Life on two other campuses before coming to RIT and the Center for Residence Life in August, 1981. I remained in Residence Life and held a variety of positions before moving to Campus Life in April, 2001 as the Associate Director.

I enjoy working on a college campus with students and the faculty and staff who work together to provide a stimulating and challenging environment to assist students in their academic and life achievements. Presently, in addition to the budget and facility responsibilities I have serve as the Administrative Advisor to the Student Government Finance Committee and WITR Radio. Lastly, I am responsible for the Performing Artist Series and Cultural Events offered through Campus Life.

I am normally in the office Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00PM. I do not normally take a lunch hour so I am also available to meet over lunch or even after hours.
