| Invisible Children- RIT Chapter's mission is to raise awareness of the crisis in Northern Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Central African Republic (CAR) and to facilitate fundraisers with the intent to send aid. This club stems from a larger national organization called Invisible Children; the organization focuses on the crimes against humanity directed towards the children of these areas. These include the kidnapping forced conscription and slaughter that have occurred during their prolonged civil war. This unrest has left many children without homes, education, and basic necessities, towards which our aid would be directed. | |
